Basham assists Estafeta in SPA agreement with UPS
Basham Ringe y Correa has assisted Estafeta Mexicana during the sale and purchase agreement with United Parcel Services (UPS), enabling both companies in the logistics sector to capitalise on Mexico’s manufacturing boom and growing economic relations between the United States and the domestic market.
Through this transaction, both companies will be able to increase their responsiveness to market needs for greater integration of services to create differentiated advantages to help serve a sector with sustained year-on-year growth of 37.5% over the past five years.
Subject to closing conditions and regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to close by the end of 2024.
The advisory work involved tax support, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the process.
