María Fernanda Espinosa and Andrés Rodríguez

B&E promotes two new partners

Barros & Errázuriz has announced the promotion of María Fernanda Espinosa (pictured left) and Andrés Rodríguez (pictured right) as new partners in the Labour and Telecommunications, as well as Technology and Data Protection areas, respectively.

María Fernanda has more than 10 years of experience in Labour Law, advising domestic and foreign clients on all day-to-day corporate labour aspects, hiring and downsizing processes, as well as M&A transactions, executive compensation structure planning, development and implementation of collective bargaining policies and processes. She joined B&E in 2014, and previously worked as an associate at Aninat Schwencke y Cía. She holds a law degree with highest distinction from Universidad de Chile, an LL.M. from University College London and a diploma in Corporate Labour Law from Universidad de los Andes. She is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.

Andrés has focused his practice on matters related to the telecommunications industry, information technology and data protection. He has advised the Chilean Government and various national and international companies in such matters. He joined the firm in 2017, having previously worked as an associate at Noguera Larrain & Dulanto Abogados and Vial Abogados, and as a legal and legislative advisor at the Undersecretary of Telecommunications. He holds a law degree from Universidad de los Andes, an LL.M. from University College London and a Master in Regulatory Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

With these new additions, the structure of Barros & Errázuriz is composed of 33 partners and more than 100 lawyers.
