Beccar Varela and Ferrere on McDonald’s MUFA agreement in Paraguay
Beccar Varela and Ferrere (Paraguay) have jointly advised McDonald’s Latin America in the negotiation and signing in March of a multi-unit franchise agreement (MUFA) with the company’s Paraguayan development licensee for the operation of the 25 existing McDonald’s restaurants in Paraguay.
To date, Paraguay has 25 McDonald’s restaurants, but new openings are planned in the near future according to the opening plan included in the agreement.
Patricia Borges acted as in-house counsel to McDonald’s Latin America.
Montero Palazón & Asociados acted as advisor to the development licensee, through partner Héctor Palazón.
