BKM assists Grupo Luksic in acquisition of Enex Paraguay
BKM Berkemeyer has assisted the Grupo Luksic in the acquisition of the total shareholding in Enex Paraguay, with the purchase of 45% of the shares in Enex Paraguay, which were owned by Sudameris Bank.
As a result of the transaction, which took place on 20 February, Enex Investments Paraguay, belonging to the Luksic Group, which already controlled 55% of the shares of Enex Paraguay, became the sole owner of the company.
The firm advised Enex Investments Paraguay and Grupo Luksic in the negotiations with the transferring partner, in corporate matters, in the drafting and review of the respective contracts and agreements, and in other related matters to ensure an optimal transition and provide support to the local market.
