BKM counsels Vitopel on jv with Plastiflex

BKM Berkemeyer has counselled Vitopel Argentina in its joint venture with the local company Plastiflex, marking the arrival of the Argentinean company in Paraguay.

Thanks to this operation, both companies will strengthen their film manufacturing business in the local territory.

Vitopel Argentina is a company founded in 1979, with an industrial plant in Cordoba, dedicated to the manufacture of polypropylene films whose use extends to the packaging of food products, wrapping, labels, adhesive tapes, and even plastics for vacuum packaging.

The consultancy involved the due diligence of the local target, the identification of the optimal structuring alternatives from a corporate and tax point of view, the drafting and negotiation of the purchase and sale agreement, shareholders agreement and other documents used to perfect the transaction.

BKM’s multidisciplinary team was led by partner Manuel Arias (pictured), together with associates Antonio Villa Berkemeyer, Mauro Mascareño, Carlos Vargas, Alvaro Rojas, Stael Olmedo, Jorge Peralta and Gastón Segovia.
