BMA advises Posidonia on a loan with Nassau Branch
BMA – Barbosa, Müssnich e Aragão acted as legal advisor to Posidonia Shipping & Trading in connection with the contracting of a loan in foreign currency in the total amount of USD 12,050,000.00, with Itaú Unibanco S.A. Nassau Branch for the purpose of acquiring a vessel in Liberia.
The loan was secured by a fiduciary assignment constituted over the credit rights arising from the provision of maritime services offered and entered into by Posidonia with Petróleo Brasileiro – Petrobras within the scope of the “”Programa Progredir”” and a mortgage governed by the laws of Liberia constituted over the vessel.
