BMA and Tauil & Chequer advises on Iguatemi’s follow-on

BMA represented Iguatemi in a public offering of primary distribution with restricted placement efforts of 36,476,000 Common Shares and 72,952,000 Preferred Shares, including Common Shares and Preferred Shares underlying the Units (each Unit comprised of 1 common share and 2 preferred shares) in Brazil and abroad. The total amount raised through the offering was R$720,036,240.00.

BMA relied on partner Conrado C. Stievani (pictured left), and associates Alexandre Roscoe Lindenberg, Luis Eduardo Al-Contar, Juliana Turini, Fernanda Gobbo, Mariana Gofferjé Pereira e Maria Julia Pires.

BMA also advised the coordinators in the scope of the definition and structuring of the offering. In addition, BMA advised Iguatemi in obtaining authorization from B3 to list its preferred shares.

Tauil & Chequer associated with Mayer Brown and Mayer Brown LLP advised Banco BTG Pactual, do Banco Bradesco BBI, do Banco Itaú BBA, do Banco Santander (Brasil) and Banco de Investimentos Credit Suisse (Brasil) that acted as coordinators of the Brazilian Offering and BTG Pactual US Capital, LLC, Bradesco Securities, Inc., Itau BBA USA Securities, Inc., Santander Investment Securities Inc. and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC that acted as international placement agents.

In Brazil, the T&C team was led by partners Rodolfo Tella (pictured center) and Carlos Motta (pictured right), with the participation of associates Dianie Teixeira, Natália Minotto and Stephanie Carmo. In the United States, Mayer Brown’s team was led by partner David Bakst together with associate Milena Muradian.
