Bocater, Camargo, Costa e Silva, Rodrigues Advogados assisted FIDC Siga Energia in raising more than R$ 61 million from 25 professional investors, including banks, investment funds, family offices and individuals, mainly from the agribusiness sector, using an innovative investment thesis which has not yet been systematically applied in the market.

FIDC Siga Energia uses Electric Energy Trading Contracts in the Free Contracting Environment (CCEAL) to provide credit for agents of the electric sector registered as generators and traders in the Electric Energy Trading Chamber (CCEE).

This environment already accounts for approximately 34% of the energy load and moves more than 40,000 contracts monthly. The FIDC SIGA ENERGIA will be managed by SIGA, which is focused on the electricity sector. In addition, Lastro DTVM will be the administrator of the FIDC.

Rio Bravo Investimentos was the lead coordinator of the issue responsible for the public offering of the quotas, while SIGA will be the manager and Lastro DTVM will be the administrator of the FIDC.

Bocater, Camargo, Costa e Silva, Rodrigues Advogados was led by partner Matheus Corredato Rossi (pictured) in this transaction.
