Bofill Mir names Tomás Pérez Lasserre as new Litigation partner

Chilean law firm Bofill Mir has named Tomás Pérez Lasserre (pictured) as a new partner of the firm, relaunching the Litigation practice with his incorporation, effective 3 January 2023.

In this regard, the new partner commented: “The challenge comes at a very attractive time as there is space to build a renewed practice, but with the experience and backing of BM’s history. I am looking forward to implementing what we have thought with my new partners for the new conformation of the area, and I am happy with the team that welcomes me”.

Tomás has more than 15 years of experience in the field of dispute resolution. He focuses his practice on litigation in economic, commercial and civil matters, as well as strategic and preventive advice related to litigation. In this context, he is a specialist in commercial arbitration, litigation in antitrust and unfair competition matters, among others.

A lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, he obtained an LL.M. in Civil Procedure and Dispute Resolution from Columbia University, New York. Previously, he was a partner at FerradaNehme, where he was in charge of litigation in antitrust and other public and private litigation matters. He was also a lawyer in the Litigation Division of the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office, and was part of the legal teams of Carey and Labbé Abogados.
