Carey represents Fotones in PPA with Generadora Metropolitana

Carey has represented Fotones in the signing of a power purchase agreement (PPA) and NCRE attributes with Generadora Metropolitana for 350GWh/year.

Thanks to this transaction, closed on 29 December, the Libertad solar plant will be able to supply renewable energy for a period of 10 years.

The Libertad project consists of a photovoltaic solar park, located in the Atacama Region in Chile, which will add 245 MW of non-conventional renewable energy to the Chilean energy matrix. The signing of the contract allows the development of the Libertad project to continue, which is expected to come into operation at the end of 2023.
