Bomchil and Bruchou counsel on $96m syndicated loan to CGC
Bomchil has counselled Compañía General de Combustibles (CGC), as borrower, and Bruchou & Funes de Rioja advised the syndicate of banks, in the granting of a syndicated loan agreement in the amount of US $96,000,000.
The loan was granted by Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina), which also acts as administrative agent, Banco Santander Argentina, Citibank Branch established in the Republic of Argentina, Banco de Valores, Nuevo Banco de Santa Fe and Banco de Santa Cruz.
The loan, which will accrue interest at a nominal annual rate of 6.50%, will be repayable in five equal and consecutive annual instalments payable as from 11 October 2024.
Compañía General de Combustibles is an Argentinean company engaged, on its own and through its subsidiaries, in the development, exploration and production of oil and gas and, to a lesser extent, liquefied petroleum gas. It has an important portfolio of exploration or production areas in various basins in Argentina, with its main operation located in the province of Santa Cruz.
