Bomchil and Marval act in Aluar dollar-linked notes issues

Bomchil has advised Aluar Aluminio Argentino (Aluar), and Marval O’Farrell Mairal has advised the underwriters, in its issuance of US $100,000,000 par value dollar-linked notes at an annual nominal rate of 0.00%.

The issue was made on 27 April 2023, and the Notes will mature in April 2028. The Notes were also authorised for listing and trading on the Argentine Stock Exchanges and Markets and on the Electronic Open Market.

SBS Trading and Banco Santander Argentina acted as arrangers and underwriters; while Macro Securities, Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina), Banco de la Provincia de Buenos Aires and Nación Bursátil acted as underwriters.

Aluar is a domestically owned company. Since its inception, it has tripled its aluminium production capacity from 140,000 tons thanks to a constant investment plan, which allows it under normal conditions to fully supply the local market with approximately 35% of its produced volume, exporting the remaining 65% to various markets, including NAFTA countries, Latin America and Asia.

Bomchil’s team was formed by partner María Victoria Funes (pictured left) and associates Luciano Zanutto and Benjamín Anaya.

Marval’s team consisted of partners Gabriel Matarasso (pictured centre) and Sergio Tálamo (pictured right) and associates Juan Pablo Lentino, Marina Rotman and Lautaro Penza.
