Calcini Advogados announces new legal counsel
Calcini Advogados has introduced its newest legal counsel, Prof. PhD Ricardo José Macedo de Britto Pereira.
An expert and consultant in the Labor Union area, Professor Ricardo Britto is an invaluable addition to the team and, above all, to the firm’s clients, whether in the context of the Superior Labor Court (TST) or in administrative proceedings involving the Labor Prosecutor’s Office (MPT).
Britto began his career at Banco do Brasil, where he worked in legal consultancy and in the labor and civil areas. Later, he was a Public Defender in the Federal District until he joined the Labor Prosecutor’s Office (MPT), where, for almost 30 years, he held leadership positions, such as Regional Prosecutor and Deputy Labor Prosecutor General. During his career at the MPT, he had vast experience in all instances.
In addition to his legal career, Ricardo Britto is well known in the academic world, with an extensive curriculum as a professor and researcher at renowned institutions, both in Brazil and abroad. He is currently Professor of the Master’s Program in Social and Labor Relations Law at the University Center of the Federal District (UDF).
Now retired as Deputy Attorney General for Labor, Ricardo Britto joins Calcini Advogados to add his expertise and knowledge, contributing directly to the excellence of the services provided by the firm. The professor’s legal and academic experience will further strengthen the firm’s commitment to specialized work in strategic court litigation, issues related to trade unions, internal MPT procedures and, of course, legal opinions.
