Candido Martins Advogados has just promoted Raphael Pires as a new partner in the corporate area. The lawyer works in the firm’s M&A, private equity, debt issuance and restructuring and estate and succession planning areas.

Raphael has more than 10 years’ experience in various sectors of the economy, especially agribusiness and energy. He has a strong track record in issuing, renegotiating and restructuring private and public debt outside and inside the B3 environment, as well as in corporate and contractual consultancy in general. Raphael also stands out in the area of structuring and estate planning, including protection, tax and succession planning in Brazil and abroad for senior executives and business families.

For Raphael, who has been part of the firm’s team since 2018, this is a challenge to be faced calmly. The firm also announces the arrival of senior lawyer Arthur de Paula Lopes Almeida, who will join the team in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate disputes at Candido Martins.
