Carey acts for the IFC on Chile agribusiness acquisition

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) instructed Carey in the acquisition of a 18% stake in Copeval for $15 million. 

Copeval is a Chilean agribusiness company listed in the Santiago stock exchange. The company focuses on the acquisition, production, purchase and distribution of agricultural products and machinery. 

Partner Cristian Eyzaguirre led the Carey team advising the IFC

Copeval retained Varela Mayol Vargas & Stone Herrera. 

Larraín Vial provided financial advise for the deal.
