Carey acts in acquisition of Telmed and Chaxa Investments shares in favour of Atrys Health

Carey has acted as Chilean counsel to the Spanish medical services company, Atrys Health, in the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Telmed and Prestaciones Médicas e Inversiones Chaxa, Chilean companies specialising in teleradiology.

This transaction, negotiated over approximately one month and closed on 27 December 2022, had an approximate value of US$8.5 million and an earn-out payment of approximately US$850,000.

ACU Abogados acted as advisor to the sellers: ACAM Inversiones, Servicios Médicos ROQ, Prestaciones Médicas CLR, Chaxa Inversiones, Mr. Paulo Alberto Flores Gutiérrez, and Ms. Larissa Pamela Lenka Guarjardo Rivera. Valoriza acted as financial advisor.

Thanks to this acquisition, Atrys Health strengthens its telediagnostic area and will contribute to consolidate its position in the Chilean healthcare market. The acquisition of Prestaciones Médicas e Inversiones Chaxa is subject to certain conditions.

 Atrys Health provides prevention, diagnosis and precision medical treatment services and is a pioneer in telemedicine and state-of-the-art radiotherapy.
