T&C and Demarest in Petrorecôncavo’s acquisition of Maha Energy
Tauil e Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised PetroRecôncavo, Demarest has assisted Maha Energy Finance (Luxembourg) and Maha Energy 1 (Brazil) AB with the negotiation of the Quota Purchase Agreement (QPA) executed with PetroRecôncavo for the sale of 100% of its participation interest in the Brazilian subsidiary Maha Energy Brasil.
The closing of the transaction that value USD 138 million, is subject to customary precedent conditions, including approval by the Brazilian antitrust authority.
