Carey advises Qantas Airways to operate in Chile

Carey has advised Qantas Airways on the revalidation of its Air Operator’s Licence (AOC) with the DGAC to operate regular flights to and from Chile. Its previous licence required revalidation due to the suspension of flights during the pandemic.

This transaction took place on 6 December 2022, involving the jurisdiction of Australia. The certification process took around five months and included multiple meetings, presentations and exchanges with various departments of the DGCA and the Civil Aviation Board.
