Carey assists Emasa in agreement with Jooycar

Carey has assisted Grupo Emasa, a Chilean company that represents automotive products, in the negotiation of the conversion of convertible instruments with Jooycar, a company dedicated to the development of electromobility solutions.

This transaction was closed on 2 June for USD $2 million and involved the Chilean and US jurisdictions. Paradigm Counsel advised the counterparty.

This transaction corresponds to the conversion into equity of Grupo Emasa’s first Corporate Venture Capital investment via convertible instruments.
