Carey counsels Atento on $50m credit facility
Carey has advised Atento Holding Chile on a $50 million loan granted by IDB Invest
Carey has counselled Atento Holding Chile, as guarantor and collateral provider, on a credit facility of up to $50 million US dollars, granted by IDB Invest, as lender and super senior agent, which replaces the existing super senior revolving credit facility entered into between Atento Luxco 1 and Atento Mexico Holdco, as borrowers, and IDB Invest, on 23 December 2021.
The transaction, which closed on 26 January, involved the jurisdictions of Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Luxembourg, Spain, Brazil and the United States.The firms Arendt & Medernach, Berninzon & Benavides, Brigard & Urrutia, Cescon Barrieu, Sidley Austin and Uría Menéndez also acted as advisors to Atento, while Clifford Chance advised IDB Invest, and Baker McKenzie advised Wilmington Trust.
Álvaro Barrón acted as in-house counsel to Atento.
Associate Mari Correa acted on behalf of Clifford Chance.
