Carey counsels on assignment of loans to Generación Solar
Carey has counselled United States International Development Finance Corporation, Inter-American Development Bank, Itaú Corpbanca, New York Branch and Banco Consorcio, in the termination, novation and assignment of their loans granted to Generación Solar, granted for the construction of the photovoltaic solar plant, María Elena, in connection with the sale of the project to Fondo de Inversión WEG-4.
This transaction was concluded on 8 September and involved the Chilean and US jurisdictions.
Norton Rose Fulbright also advised the lenders, while Claro & Cía acted as advisor to the borrower. Providence Capital acted as financial advisor.
