ONTIER Mexico strengthens its practices with two new partners
ONTIER has announced the appointment of two new partners to its Mexico office, adding Miguel Tsuyoshi Ishii Yokoyama (pictured left), as a partner in the Corporate and Real Estate practice, and Citlali Pérez Renteria (pictured right) as a partner in the Arbitration and Mining practice. Also joining the team is Alejandro Segall Freidkes, as of counsel in the Civil and Commercial Litigation practice.
These additions “will undoubtedly be a fundamental pillar in the growth of the office and will help us to consolidate areas such as Corporate and M&A, real estate, transactional, mining, arbitration and civil and commercial litigation,” mentioned Lorenzo Hernández, country manager of Ontier Mexico.
Miguel Ishii has more than 3 decades of experience advising on Corporate Law, Real Estate Law and M&A transactions, including corporate legal structures, joint ventures, strategic alliances and trusts, as well as participating in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of loans and financing. He holds a law degree from Escuela Libre de Derecho, an LL.M. in International Economic and Business Law from Kyushu University and, prior to joining the firm, he was a partner at Jáuregui y Del Valle, and a founding partner at Ishii Abogados.
Citlali Pérez has more than 20 years of experience providing legal advice in Transactional Corporate Law, International Commercial Arbitration and Mining, conducting negotiations and implementation of domestic and international contracts and transactions in the retail, infrastructure, hydrocarbons, services, mining, rail transport and energy industries. She holds a law degree from La Salle University, an LLM in International Environmental Law from Queen’s University, an LLM in Corporate Law from La Salle, and is specialized in International Commercial Arbitration from Escuela Libre de Derecho. She previously worked as a partner at Miranda & Estavillo, Jáuregui y Del Valle, and Ishii Abogados.
