Carey instructed on solar energy financing

Carey advised Banco Security and Banco Consorcio in negotiations with Fotovoltaica Norte Grande 5 to amend an existing credit facility agreement. 

Fotovoltaica Norte Grande 5 is the Chilean subsidiary of Spanish energy company Gestamp Asetym Solar. The credit facility is being used to finance the construction of Parque Solar Fotovoltaico Uribe Solar project, a 50MW power facility.

Partner Felipe Moro led the team at Carey which acted for the banks.

Banco Security and Banco Consorcio instructed Garrigues as Spanish counsel while Fotovoltaica Norte Grande 5 worked with Morales & Besa.
