Carey represents ALLVP in Shinkansen investment
Carey has represented ALLVP, a Mexican venture capital fund, in the Chilean aspects of its investment in Shinkansen, a Chilean technology startup.
This transaction was closed on 29 June for USD $3 million.
The investment round led by ALLVP will enable Shinkansen’s expansion in Latin America, and demonstrates the potential and opportunity for investment in Latin American start-ups in the Fintech sector.
Shinkansen is a startup that provides services for the automation of money transfers and transactions in the banking and Fintech sector.
Carey’s team was led by partner Francisco Guzmán (pictured), with support from associates Carlos Alcalde, Carolina Miller and Crescente Bernales.
