Cariola assists CCU in registration of series Q and R promissory notes
Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos has assisted Compañía Cervecerías Unidas (CCU) in the registration of the unsecured Series Q and R notes, and the issuance and placement of the 20-year Series R notes for a total amount of UF 4,000,000 (US $160,000,000 approx.) in the Chilean capital market.
The proceeds of the bonds, issued on 6 December 2022, will be used to refinance existing financial debt of the issuer.
The notes were structured by Banco de Chile and Banco Santander Chile.
CCU is one of Chile’s largest and leading producers of soft drinks, juices, mineral water, wines and beverages.
