Cescon Barrieu advises Copa Energia on debenture issue
Cescon Barrieu advised Copa Energia, Itaú BBA Assessoria Financeira and Banco Bradesco BBI, on the 6th issuance of simple, non-convertible, unsecured debentures, in two series, for public distribution of Copa Energia, in the total amount of BRL 1,380,000,000.00, under the CVM 160.
The proceeds of the offering were used to prepay the debentures of the 2nd issuance of the issuer. Copa Energia is a privately held company specialized in the distribution and commercialization of gas, primarily serving strategic sectors such as agribusiness and industries.
Cescon Barrieu advised the issuer and the underwriters and relied on partners Daniel Laudisio (pictured left), Mariana Rodrigues Machado Borges (pictured right); associates Daniel Mortati, Ana Beatriz Borges, Fernanda Putrino and intern Pedro Cichello Martins.
