Cescon Barrieu and Pinheiro Neto advise Localiza debenture issue
Cescon, Barrieu, Flesch & Barreto Advogados advised Localiza Rent a Car S.A.; Pinheiro Neto Advogados advised Banco Itaú BBA S.A., Banco Safra S.A. and Banco Votorantim S.A.
Localiza Rent a Car S.A., the largest car rental company in South America, carried out its 19th issue of simple debentures, non convertible into shares, in two series, in the total amount of two billion and five hundred million reais, with additional fiduciary guarantee from Localiza Fleet S.A., for public distribution with restricted distribution efforts, in accordance with CVM Instruction No. 476.
The offering was carried out with Banco Itaú BBA S.A., Banco Safra S.A. and Banco Votorantim S.A. acting as underwriters.
Cescon Barrieu advised the issuer and the guarantor in all legal aspects related to the offering, with partner Alice Fulgêncio Brandão (pictured left) and associates Marcelo Augusto Amin Correia; Lucas Ubiratan de Oliveira.
Pinheiro Neto Advogados advised the coordinators of the offering and included partner Ricardo S. Russo (pictured right), associates Marcello Mammocci Pompilio, Francisca de Almeida Silva Pereira and legal assistant Matheus de Lima Correia.
