Cescon Barrieu promotes a partner for Corporate and M&A
Cescon Barrieu has announced that Leandro Corrêa (pictured) has become a partner in the firm’s Corporate and M&A practice.
Leandro worked at the firm from 2017 to 2022 and returned to the firm this year after completing an LL.M. at Duke University School of Law in New York and working as an international associate at Winston & Strawn LLP, one of Chicago’s oldest and largest law firms.
Leandro has extensive experience in complex mergers and acquisitions in various sectors of the economy, such as energy, finance and agribusiness. The new partner has a law degree from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), a specialization in Corporate Operations Management and Tax Planning from the National Institute of Legal and Business Studies (INEJE) and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC.
