Cescon Barrieu strengthens different areas with two new partners

Cescon Barrieu announces that Esther Slud (pictured left) and Daniel Longa (pictured right) have joined the team of partners in the areas of Restructuring, Insolvency, Credit Recovery, Banking Litigation and Strategic Litigation.

Both will increase the firm’s expertise and capacity to assist its clients in complex Dispute Resolution matters related to the areas of Investment Funds and Asset Management, Finance, M&A, Capital Markets, Project Finance, among others. The arrival of the new partners is expected to expand the firm’s performance in credit recovery processes and transactions involving stressed assets.

Esther Slud holds a Law degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), a specialization degree in Civil Procedural Law and a Specialization degree in Debt Restructuring and Credit Recovery from the same institution. She is also a Member TMA – Turnaround Management Association and Member IWIRC Brazil- International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation Brazil.

Daniel Longa has a Law degree from Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), LL.M. in Corporate Law – INSPER- Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa and a Master in Business Law – Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
He is also a Member of the Bankruptcy Law and Corporate Litigation and M&A Disputes Committees (IBRADEMP), Member of Young ICCA – Young Arbitrators Global Network.
