Cescon e Felsberg assist in the acquisition of Cordilheira dos Ventos
Cescon Barrieu advised AES Tietê Energia on the acquisition of 100% of the quotas of Cordilheira dos Ventos Centrais Eólicas, current owner of the assets and rights of the Cordilheira dos Ventos Complex. The company is an isolated production unit (“UPI”) of Grupo Renova.
The transaction was through a competitive procedure in the form of closed proposal, pursuant to arts. 60 et seq. and 142 of Law 11,101/2005 (Reorganization and Bankruptcy Law), in which AES Tietê Energia was granted stalking horse rights.
The transaction value was BRL 42 million.
