Souto Correa expands its environmental law and sustainability team

Souto Correa Advogados has expanded its environmental law and sustainability team with the hiring of Tasso Cipriano (pictured left) and André Castilho (pictured right)

Tasso Cipriano holds a doctorate in law from the University of Bremen (Germany) and the University of São Paulo (USP), where he graduated. He joins Souto Correa’s team of six lawyers in the area of environmental law and sustainability after working as a partner at Felsberg Advogados advising national and foreign clients in various sectors of the economy in both advisory and strategic litigation. He is an undergraduate and graduate professor at Centro Universitário Fundação Santo André (FSA) and Senac. Besides reinforcing the firm’s environmental practice aiming at the greentech innovation and socio-environmental impact market, Tasso comes in with the purpose of further developing the pro bono program at Souto Correa.

André Castilho holds a Master’s degree in Law from USP and the University of Lyon II (France). In addition to his double master’s degree, he holds a double degree in Law from both universities and is a specialist in Environmental Law from the Institute O Direito por um Planeta Verde (IDPV). He joins Souto Correa after working for renowned law firms such as Felsberg and Machado Meyer.
