Chadbourne launches Private Client practice for Ibero-America
International law firm Chadbourne & Parke has launched a new Ibero-America Private Clients Practice in a bid to capitalize on existing and potential opportunities in the region.
This new practice group will focus on providing legal advice and support to individuals, families, family offices and their holdings across Spain, Portugal, and Latin America as they maintain or look to expand to the US or globally.
The initiative is set to complement Chadbourne’s existing Private Clients and Latin America practices, which are active in Latin America across a broad range of disciplines.
“As the world becomes increasingly connected, in both our business and personal lives, multijurisdictional individuals, families and businesses having a connection with Spain, Portugal, and Latin America face unique challenges as they maintain or look to establish a US or global presence,” Clara Krivoy, head of the Ibero-America Private Clients Practice, said in a statement. “Our global platform allows us to assist such individuals, families and businesses in making well-informed decisions in virtually all areas of law, including global tax planning, trusts and estates, dispute resolution, regulatory matters, intellectual property, employment, corporate, financings, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets and legal compliance. This new practice will effectively support our clients’ business and personal plans for growth, as well as their philanthropic endeavors.”
