Chalfin, Goldberg & Vainboim announces new partner
Chalfin, Goldberg & Vainboim Advogados has announced Gustavo Niskier as a new partner in the areas of Environmental Law, Compliance, Data Privacy, and AI.
With over two decades of legal experience, Gustavo has built a career that combines work at major law firms with executive experience at a multinational corporation, both in Brazil and abroad, holding leadership positions in compliance, institutional and government relations, international affairs, privacy, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and governance.
With a law degree, a postgraduate degree in Environmental Law, and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Gustavo also holds a specialization in Human Rights from the Washington College of Law at American University in the United States. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in areas that are now central to the business agenda, such as corporate ethics, ESG, regulatory risk management, international sanctions, export controls, privacy governance, and AI, as well as strategic litigation and crisis management in various regulatory contexts.
In an increasingly challenging national landscape that is closely linked to global trends, Gustavo brings to CGV Advogados a practical, executive, and integrated perspective on legal certainty, compliance, internationalization, and business development.
