Chiode Minicucci announces a new consultant to the firm
Chiode Minicucci Advogados announced Ricardo Calcini (pictured) as a new consultant partner to the firm. He has worked for over 20 years in Labor Law, particularly in issues related to Labor Courts (TRTs and TST).
Master in Labor Law from PUC/SP, post-graduated in Civil Procedural Law from EPM TJ/SP, and in Social Law from Universidade Mackenzie, he has a wide experience in specialized litigation in courts.
In addition to being a lawyer, lecturer, and instructor for corporate events, he is a professor in legal courses and renowned post-graduate institutions throughout Brazil, and has been invited to lecture at USP/RP, PUC/RS, PUC/PR, Católica de SC, IBMEC/RJ, FMU/SP, IEPREV/MG, Mackenzie/RJ and the Superior School of Law.
It is worth mentioning that he has also integrated the legal counseling in the Offices of TRT/SP and TST. Currently, Ricardo is the only professor of Labor Law in the country who writes columns in the three most relevant legal portals in Brazil: Jota, Migalhas, and ConJur. He is the author of more than 200 legal articles and several books in the labor area, the latter focused on themes such as ESG, LGPD and Compliance, Enforcement and Union Relations, and, above all, specialized advocacy in TRTs and TST.
In addition to the activities mentioned above, Ricardo Calcini also acts as Labor Coordinator of Editora Mizuno, is a Member of the Technical Committee of the Síntese Trabalhista e Previdenciária Magazine, and is also a Member and Researcher of the Contemporary Labor and Social Security Law Study Group of the Universidade de São Paulo (GETRAB-USP), of GEDTRAB-FDRP/USP and of CIELO LABORAL.
In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, he was invited by the Chamber of Deputies to chair the jurists’ technical group, where he drafted Bill No. 5.581 to regulate the issue of Telework in companies.
