Cl&am Capital acquires control of Grano Alimentos
Demarest advised Cl&am Capital on the acquisition of control of Grano Alimentos, a Brazilian company in the frozen vegetables segment holding a market share exceeding 40%, in an ongoing M&A transaction on the buy side.
The deal marks Cl&am Capital’s entry into a food sector characterized by strong growth and consolidation potential, while also representing the exit of Arlon Private Equity following a long-term investment cycle. The transaction remains subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions precedent, including approval by the relevant governmental authorities.
