Cleary Gottlieb advised inital purchasers on international offering by Banistmo

Cleary Gottlieb acted for initial purchasers JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley in the debut international bond offering by Banistmo. 

Banistmo is a Panamanian financial company and is a subsidiary of Bancolombia.

Banistmo issued $500 million in principal amount of 3.650 percent senior notes due 2022 as a private placement under Rule 144A of the Securities Act of 1933 and outside the United States in reliance on Regulation S. 

Partners Juan Giráldez and Francesca Odell led the Cleary team advising the banks.
