Cleary represents ATP in $75m credit agreement

Cleary Gottlieb has represented Andean Telecom Partners (ATP), acting through its subsidiary Andean Tower Partners Colombia, as borrower, in a $75 million credit agreement.

The credit agreement was entered into on February 16, 2024 and matures on August 15, 2025. Bancolombia is the lender under the credit agreement.

The credit agreement is guaranteed by ATP Tower Holdings and its subsidiaries Andean Telecom Partners Chile, Andean Telecom Partners Peru, ATP Fiber Colombia, ATP Fiber Chile and Redes de Fibra del Peru and secured by a lien on the shares of ATP’s operating subsidiaries.

ATP is the largest private telecommunications and digital infrastructure provider in the Andean region. It operates in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador and Paraguay, and provides services to telecommunications and wireless operators, as well as playing a key role in mobile and broadband connectivity in the Andean region.

Cleary’s team included partner Juan Giráldez (pictured) and associate Rodrigo Lopez Lapeña. Juan Giráldez is based in Sao Paulo, and Rodrigo Lopez Lapeña is based in New York.
