Cleary represents the Republic of Guatemala in $500m bond offering

Cleary Gottlieb has represented the Republic of Guatemala in its offering of 5.250% Notes due 2029 under Rule 144A/Reg S for $500,000,000 USD.

The transaction was priced on 3 August and is expected to settle on 10 August.

Santander Investment Securities Inc. acted as initial purchaser for the offering.

This marks the twelfth time that the Republic of Guatemala has tapped the international debt markets.
