Clifford Chance adds new counsel to LatAm practice
Clifford Chance has announced the addition of attorney Joshua Bernard (pictured) to its corporate M&A practice in Houston as new counsel. Bernard’s appointment will strengthen the firm’s corporate M&A capabilities in the Latin America region.
Bernard, joining from Simpson Thacher, represents clients on a broad spectrum of corporate and finance matters, including M&A and joint ventures, debt and equity capital markets, commercial lending and corporate governance. He has extensive experience advising public and private companies, private equity sponsors, investors and banks across all sectors in the region.
Joshua received his law degree from Brown University in 2011, an LL.M. from the University of Hong Kong in 2014 and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2014. He was admitted as an Attorney at Law in New York in 2014 and in Texas in 2022. In addition, he is fluent in English and Spanish.
