Clifford Chance advises on CAF bond issue

Clifford Chance has advised BofA Securities, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs International in connection with a $1.5 billion bond offering by Latin American development bank Corporación Andina de Fomento (CAF).

This is the largest dollar issuance in CAF’s history. The bonds were registered with the SEC and listed in London.

The firm previously advised on a USD$200m issue of CAF bonds listed in Panama.

Clifford Chance’s team consisted of partner Jon Zonis (pictured), associate Emely Luna and law clerk Alexandra Machado in New York, supported by counsel Jacqueline Landells in Washington DC and Matt Fairclough in the UK.
