Consortium promotes 2 partners in El Salvador

Consortium Legal has announced the promotion of Felipe Aragón (pictured left) and Fidel Márquez (pictured right) as new partners in El Salvador.

Felipe, who joined the firm in 2010, has 15 years of professional experience, specializing in the area of Banking and Finance, from regulatory advice, financing under local and foreign law, financing of infrastructure projects, syndicated loans, sovereign debt issues, securitization of assets, financing by multilateral entities, among others; as well as mergers and acquisitions of financial institutions. He holds a law degree from Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado and an LLM from INIDEM Business Law School.

Fidel joined the firm in 2020, having more than 15 years of experience in corporate and M&A matters. During his career he has advised a significant number of corporate groups operating in different industries in the country on their day-to-day operations, frequently assisting them in coordinating their needs in the Central American area, as well as the rest of Latin America. He has also co-led major mergers and acquisitions transactions. Previously, he was also an associate at Arias Law.

This incorporation increases the number of local partners to 7 and the number of partners in the Central American region to 60.
