Cuatrecasas acts in acquisition of 85% of SOHEC’s shares

Cuatrecasas, through its Bogotá office, has advised Fondo Ashmore Andino III and Ashmore Andean Fund III on the acquisition of 85% of the shares of Sociedad de Oncología y Hematología del Cesar (SOHEC), which treats more than 7,500 patients a year.

SOHEC is a health care institution located in Valledupar, Colombia, which has served in the prevention, treatment and research of cancer in the north of the country for the past 27 years. It specialises in treatments associated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and in addition to its clinical research centre, it focuses on providing research studies to promote reliable and high-quality treatments for the institution’s patients, based on constant innovation, clinical research and cutting-edge technology.
