Cuatrecasas adds new Finance partner

Cuatrecasas has announced the appointment of Mariana Campos (pictured) as new partner in Mexico City to strengthen its Finance area.

We are very excited about her integration,” said Iván Libenson, managing partner of Cuatrecasas’ Mexico City office.

Mariana has a professional career spanning more than 20 years, during which she has accumulated great prestige and experience in the areas of banking and finance, capital markets, financial regulatory affairs and banking operations. Previously, she served as legal director of Barclays Bank Mexico, legal director of the Mexican Institutional Stock Exchange (BIVA) and vice president-assistant general counsel of Banco J.P. Morgan. She has also worked at renowned law firms in Mexico City and New York.

She holds a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana de México, with honours, and a Master’s degree from New York University School of Law. She also holds a Diploma in Financial Law from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
