Cuatrecasas represents Acciona on power transmission expansion
Cuatrecasas has advised in two significant financing transactions for Acciona group’s concession companies, aimed at constructing electricity transmission lines in Peru. The law firm advised Banco Santander, CaixaBank, and BBVA on these deals, which are set to have a substantial impact on Peru’s energy infrastructure.
In the first transaction, Cuatrecasas advised Santander and CaixaBank on financing Concesionaria Transmisora Hub Poroma. This project involves the construction and commissioning of 386 kilometers of transmission lines, six new substations, and the expansion of six existing substations.
The second deal Cuatrecasas advising BBVA on a financing agreement with Concesionaria Transmisora Reque Tumbes. and Concesionaria Transmisora Ica-Poroma. This financing will support the construction and commissioning of several power transmission projects in Peru, enabling the Acciona Group to undertake projects of significant strategic value for the Andean country.
