Cuatrecasas advises on $190m Peru beltway deal
BBVA Perú, the Corporación Financiera de Desarrollo (COFIDE) and MUFG Bank have closed a USD 190 million financing package to support the Anillo Vial Periférico, a road infrastructure project in Peru designed to serve as a primary beltway. Cuatrecasas advised the three banking entities on the structuring and closing of the financing.
The Anillo Vial Periférico is described as one of Peru’s main road infrastructure projects. The transaction adds to a series of infrastructure financings in Peru’s road sector, where banks and development finance institutions have increasingly partnered on large-scale projects.
COFIDE’s involvement alongside BBVA Perú and MUFG Bank reflects continued interest from both local and international lenders in Peru’s transport infrastructure pipeline.
