Azevedo Sette names two partners in Belo Horizonte
Azevedo Sette Advogados has appointed two new partners in its Belo Horizonte office, both from the firm’s Litigation and Arbitration practice. Lucielly Matos Oliveira and Fernando Antônio Silveira Rodrigues Filho join the partnership as the firm continues an internal promotion drive that has now produced six new partners in 2026.
Lucielly Matos Oliveira has more than 15 years of experience handling litigation and arbitration matters spanning civil, competition, environmental, intellectual property, mining and real estate disputes. Her practice has focused on the automotive, mining and TMT sectors, with particular emphasis on complex business disputes, including expropriation proceedings, repossession actions, adverse possession claims, eviction cases, rent collection, damages claims and judicial negotiations aimed at protecting the property rights of owners, tenants and investors. She joined Azevedo Sette in 2013 and recently took part in an exchange program in Canada, alongside authoring several articles for academic and legal publications.
Fernando Antônio Silveira Rodrigues Filho brings more than 20 years of experience, ten of them at the firm, advising companies on strategic negotiations and contentious matters, including arbitration proceedings in civil and corporate law, as well as corporate, environmental and intellectual property litigation. His practice covers disputes across the energy, construction and engineering, telecommunications, healthcare, technology and internet, retail, real estate and infrastructure sectors. He holds a law degree from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC Minas) and a postgraduate specialization in civil procedural law from the Universidade de Itaúna (UIT). Before joining Azevedo Sette, he served as legal coordinator for the civil area at firms specializing in corporate law and as legal coordinator for the departments of large companies.
The appointments bring the firm’s total number of partner promotions in 2026 to six. In January, the firm promoted Stefania Mariotti (Litigation and TMT) and Svetlana Miranda (Environmental, Mining and ESG Law) to partner. In March, Maíra Konrad de Brito (Tax, Strategic Litigation and Digital Law) and Juliano Tadeu Ferreira Lisboa (Litigation, Real Estate, Privacy and Data Protection, Intellectual Property and Corporate Law) were also promoted, having spent 12 and 17 years respectively at the firm before taking on leadership of the Brasília team.
