Cuatrecasas assists Ameris in $27m credit facility
Cuatrecasas, through its team in Santiago de Chile, has assisted Ameris Capital in the granting of a $27 million US dollar loan for the acquisition of quotas of public investment funds in Chile and the granting of local guarantees to secure the loan.
The loan for this transaction, made through the Ameris Alternativos II fund, will be repaid from the proceeds of the investment or from the disposal of the quotas.
During the advisory process, complex guarantees were provided to secure the interest of various financial institutions and insurance companies.
Ameris Capital, a Chilean financial services company, is involved in alternative asset management in sectors such as real estate, private debt, private equity and infrastructure, and is also active in the institutional distribution and corporate finance business.
