Cuatrecasas assists CMPC in $200m credit agreement with Export Development Canada
Cuatrecasas, through its team in Santiago de Chile, has assisted Empresas CMPC in the execution of a credit agreement under the laws of the State of New York (United States), entered into between CMPC Celulose Riograndense-as debtor-, Empresas CMPC-as guarantor-, and Export Development Canada-as creditor.
Macarena Ravinet, lead partner of the transaction, commented: “this financing transaction, with a value of US$ 200 million, will allow CMPC to use these funds for general corporate purposes of the debtor company, in compliance with international sustainability standards.”
