H&K promotes two partners in Mexico

Holland & Knight has announced the promotion of 52 lawyers to partner, effective 2023, globally, including 33 associates and 19 senior lawyers. Among them are Selene Espinosa, from the Mexico City office, and Alejandro A. Sánchez Mújica from the Monterrey office.

This is the largest class of partners in the firm’s history, as well as one of the most diverse, with 58% of members coming from under-represented demographic groups within the legal profession. This is the seventh consecutive year in which H&K has promoted a new class of members that exceeds 50% diversity.

Selene Espinosa (pictured left) is a member of the Business practice. She focuses her practice on corporate services and financial transactions. She represents banks, funds, investors, strategic buyers and sellers in complex cross-border transactions involving US, Canadian, European and Latin American entities and assets. She also represents underwriters of representation and warranty insurance policies in connection with mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Alejandro A. Sánchez Mújica (pictured right) is also a member of the Business practice. He has extensive experience representing domestic and international companies in domestic and cross-border transactions, including advising on the structuring and execution of joint ventures, infrastructure projects, financing, as well as the structuring and implementation of complex security packages, public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions in various sectors.
