Cuatrecasas assists CMPC in first issue in Mexico

Cuatrecasas, through its office in Santiago de Chile, has advised Empresas CMPC and Inversiones CMPC on the placement of a public offering of bonds in Mexico for an amount equivalent to USD $188 million in local currency.

This marks CMPC’s first issuance in the Mexican market, which consisted of the placement of two series of bonds: a two-year floating rate green bond and a nine-year bond linked to sustainability objectives.

Thanks to this operation, CMPC will diversify its sources of financing and also confirms its commitment to growth in Latin America and Mexico, where it has increased its investment.
